Just watched this and thank goodness no terrible pictures to look at just a very sad story with a great ending. That family are amazing for taking the dog on who knows what kind of issues that could have dealt with regarding behaviour.

What on earth kept that dog alive ??? Must have been pure determination. Thank heavens there are people like this out there. Thanks for posting Dave.

Its a hard back, Amazon for £9, may be worth a read, just a very touching story and am rather partial to a good read

just ordered the paperback as a prerelease on amazon , lets hope I get to read this one , got loads of hardbacks I've never touched yet as they are too heavy and lumpy to put in my bag when I am away and never get the time to read at home

I bought this book some months ago. It's a beautiful story.

Don't read enough books as my attention span for stuff like that isn't great, now and again something comes up that I read very quickly without putting it down , and this could be one of them, but mostly it can take me months to finish a book, thats why in the past I've gone for Jeremy Clarkson books and such as they are just lots of short quips gathered together so there is no story as such to keep in touch with

Bought this book for my mum, she said it was a very good book and I am starting to read it soon aswell. I saw it on the shelf and after reading the book description it was very much like boss' story with both being survivors of being bait dogs, luckily boss has his scars covered over now. It is wonderful how a dog after being treated so horribly by humans can come out of it tails wagging with so much love to give, they truely are inspirational.

nearly finished the book now, it's only taken 2 weeks as I don't have time to get it done, great book and thoroughly recommend it.
PS If you are a soft hearted bloke like me , don't read in public as you don't want to get caught choking back a tear
