Evening from us and Zack

Hi All

My name is Superbiatch or SB for short and I am the (very) proud owner of Zack who is our 13 year old staffie. He's chestnut red with a white chest and a little grey muzzle these days. We've had many wonderful years with Zack and are finding it hard to adjust to him slowing down. He has had arthritis of the back legs/spine for the last few years and can barely use his back legs at all these days - we've resorted to buying him wheels! We don't begrudge this for a minute, if we could get him some bionic legs we'd remortgage the house but we're slowly coming to terms he isn't going to be with us forever. So, we found this site in the hope we can pick up some ideas on prolonging his life whilst he is comfortable and also to see everyone elses' fab staffies!

We also have Rocky (brindle aged 7 male), Holly (brindle aged 3 female) and Megan (blue aged 3 female) in the extended family we're real fans some would say!

Once I've had a few minutes to get my head around photobucket I'll get some pics uploaded. i'm sure i'm not the staffie owner who pulls out the camera at every opportunity given their photogenic nature and antics they get up to.

Looking forward to finding my feet on the site and seeing lots of photos.

Yes I am interested in how Zack gets around on his wheels. My Jethro is 12 and a half, he has arthritis, so has arthritis powder everyday in his food, all year round, which has really helped. At the moment he still gets around okay... in fact today after a swim in the dam he ran flat out towards me!
