Eli (Deaf Staffy) as appeared in the Hull Daily Mail
We are Alan and Jeanette Pacey and are the proud new owners of Eli, the deaf staffy featured in the Hull Daily Mail..Eli had been at the rescue centre for quite a while so the staff decided to run a feature in the Hull Daily Mail...I had recently lost my last dog rubble he was 16 years old and I had him all his life, We did not plan on having any more dogs but once we read the story of Eli and the fact that he was deaf we decided to answer the story but we did not thing we would get him...Could not believe it when the rescue centre asked us to rehome him and now that Eli is with us we would not be done without him...He is well trained , loyal , obedient and loving and is responding well to the extra training that we are giving him..He gets loads of walkies and plays but his favourite is the 2 hour long walk on our local nature reserve with his best friend rocky ( my daughters Staffy who lives just round the corner.)..he has now been castrated and is settled down fine..hope to chat to some fellow members soon and I am proud to be a good staffy owner...
