staffy found.......leeming lane

My friend of a friend has asked for this to be posted to hopefully have a happy ending..................Can someone please help me. I have acquired a dog, a staffordshire bull terrier, big one with dark brown patches on white fur. It jumped in my car at the 24 hour Garage on Leeming Lane...its a big one. With one dark brown eye, friendly enough, no collar but respo......nds to sit and lie down.....I don't know what to do with it. Have called the police and the dog warden is not at work today, I'd bring it in til I have found its owner but I have Quinn with me...I don't trust strange dogs.....Can everyone post this on their profile til the owner is found? I don't know - it was just posted on another forum. I think it might be London. I'll go back & ask.

Scrap that, It's either Mansfield, Notts or North Yorkshire!

Just heard back that the owner has now been found & an ecstatic staff has been reunited with its family!

Glad that ended well. I think Suki would also jump into a stranger's car if given half a chance.

Oh good. Lexi is terrible for doing this, thats how she was stolen. The lady stopped cause she was sitting at our gate (our gate is like on a layby at the road so she sits and watches the world go by) and the lady thought she was a stay and opened her door and off lexi went on a 4 day hostage holiday!

fantastic news the dog has found his way back home, but its funny you should say about the car thing. Years ago my cousin had his Staffy , Jess she was a typical laid back beautiful girl but would never go anywhere for a walk unless it was my cousin or my Aunt taking her. Cut a long story short, if | stopped over there and him and his missus were having a lie in I would always try to take Jess for a walk , and fail . The only success I had was to jangle my car keys in front of her and she was straight in , then kick her out at the field to let her have a run, but all she ever wanted to do at best was to have a wee and jump back in the car.
