Well you guys know that I have a dog called Tyson, but recently we got another dog called Zeus (again I'm only looking after them for a short while). I went over to my step dad's uncles house and Tyson and Zeus both fought (and drew blood from each other). Zeus Bit Tyson's Frontal left leg and Tyson Bit Zeus' Mouth and yes both of them were bleeding pretty frantically. We washed their cuts and bought some Antiseptic Cream for both of them and Zeus seems to be ok but Tyson can't seem to walk on his front left leg anymore. I'm literally crying my eyes out and haven't been able to sleep knowing that i've been such an idiot to let them fight! I don't know what i can do to help tyson and to stop them from fighting each other. Zeus is 2 Years old and Tyson is 15 Months. Please help, i'll take whatever advise I can get Sad

Once two male staffs have fought it's unlikely that you will ever be able to trust them together again. Even keeping them in seperate rooms will be very difficult as they will be trying to get to each other. That's staff nature, I'm afraid.

What is the reason you were looking after Zeus? Can you send him back, or ask someone else to look after him until he goes home?

I'm looking after Zeus and Tyson because my step dad wants me to as it will enable my mum to see that I am capable of having my own dog. Not only that but also, my step dad is sending them to another country next month so yeah, i don't really have my say in any of it :/

I would also advise to keep them seperated from now on.

Ah, right, I remember now.

They will have to be kept totally seperate, and I think Tyson may well have to be taken to the vets if his leg's no better in 24 hours or so. I think your step dad is asking way too much of you, looking after two male dogs like that. Does he know that the two dogs have fought, and what does he think about it?

first of i think that you not getting involved in the fight was a sensible idea, you could of been seriously injured. i do however agree with everyone else by uu'r going to have to keep them apart. but dont blame yourself for the fight. them boys will have fought regardless. you've done your best to look after them after the fight. just keep strong and get Tyson to the vets. i hope theyre both okay and you are to xx
