Your pride & joy ?
Apart from our pooche's what would you say your pride and joy is ? (try to not post pics of anything human, its toooooo corny, and I'll throw up )
This is mine, might not look much to the untrained eye, but beleive me, it will out accellerate any superbike to 80, then out brake, and out manouvre it to rub salt in the wound ... I know ... I've had them all !

Re: Your pride & joy ?
your mam and dad have good taste we havent had it long but i love it. if we have finished early enough friday we can just hook it up to the truck and away we go for the weekend. lemmy and now lottie will be playing in the garden friday then n the beach saturday morning cant beat it

Re: Your pride & joy ?
Love the van! We go camping.
Hmmm my pride & joy would have to be my two kids - they drive me nuts, but when I look around & see what other kids are like & what their parents have to put up with I realise mine are two angels! They are good kids. Not goody-goody, but decent.
After that, my Dog book collection & REM collection!

thankyou caryll. lemmy loves the van he will sit in it for ages even when its just on the drive like i said if we go in the van i dont have to put him in kennels and we can go when we want. i dont need fancy holidays abroad i just need peace of mind and i get that by taking the little man with me. cant wait to see lottie when she sees the sea she will love it.

Say what sober Caryll? Organic things do top anything else with me especially my family and of course my boy is part of that but if you do insist I would say my Jeep. Plenty of room for me and Ty to hit out into the bush with no fear.

Re: Your pride & joy ?
We have lots, but other than The Dita Cat and The Vlad, we have nothing I value as our pride and joy. We haven't been fortunate enough to have a family (something we're hoping to change... we will see) so it's me, my husband and our gorgeous fur family and that's our pride and joy...a bit sad, I know!

not sad at all. my OH tells everyone the dogs replaced the kids when they grew up. hope you do get your wish for a child one day and you do realise it will involve lots of updates and pictures just like the dogs

Re: Your pride & joy ?
Thanks. We just don't talk about it. It's sometimes a bit overwhelming. Adoption is looking like a real possibility... so we'll see We just try and concentrate on what we have... and we're lucky. We don't want for anything material wise, we both have secure jobs, comfortable lives and two loving pets But yes, pictures and updates will be a definite if all goes well

Although I didn't get to use them nearly as much this summer, these are a few of my favorite things.

Re: Your pride & joy ?
Just realised that apart from my daughter and my furry babies I don't have anything that would be classed as a pride and joy unless I can count my drawing/painting materials. They were the one thing I insisted didn't get touched when I had a massive clear out a while ago
I would love a caravan but I don't drive and to be honest the roads are much safer without me on them

Don't have anything apart from Rocky and my hubby, live in a rented flat that I hate. Don't have any kids,
I guess the only thing is my wedding ring, wouldn't part with that for anything it's the most precious thing I've ever had.

The car I had before it was the best car I ever had, though it will ALWAYS be my pride and joy .. I miss it terribly ...

Sad? No, it isn't! What's wrong with being proud of your oh & your fur baby?

Re: Your pride & joy ?
Now this os going to be really sad
After my two gorgeous kids, the dog and the otherhalf (possibly in that order ) then my pride of joy has to be my hoover. It is never referred to as the hoover, always Henry and the kids love it when Henry comes out to play.....good job really as I can sometimes hoover 3 times a day. Thinking I might have OCD
The other halfs pride and joy was his Porsche, but he sold that when he found out I was expecting our first child. Didn't have much room in the back for car seats He replaced it with a volvo 850 T5 estate car (grandad car) and in the last 4 years he has done it up to be a boy racer lookalike. Tinted windows, removed the roof racks etc. I think it looks good though, better than when we picked it up. His latest buy for it was some kind of turbo shait which makes the car go faster and sound louder, oh and a set of front lights and bulbs which are neon. His mate has the same car, and it seems to be like a contest who can get theirs looking the best, going the fastest and sounding the loudest
