how did everyone get there pup home? as i live a hour away from where i'm collecting him, think car is best option ??xx

Picked him up in the car and he slept on my OH's knee on the way back

We picked him up in the car, make sure you have something with you incase he gets car sick

3hr drive for Max ... he slept all the way bless him, but was REALLY thursty when he got home, never looked at his new home, just went straight for the water bowl !! if I remember, we had to stop him drinking or he would of burst

Ask the breeder if you can play with the pup for a while before you set off ... knacker's them out

picked them both up in the car too far for us to walk never mind a pup

2.5 hour drive... we took our cat carrier. I had Vlad on my lap to begin with, but he began to cry and scratch the car window when we started to drive away from the breeder's home... broke my heart... we put him in the carrier with a nice warm blanket, a towel (just incase of accidents) and a cuddle toy... he still loves that toy even if it is a mess now! He slept the entire way home!!!

We had a four hour underground/train/bus journey as the car wasn't working. We had Dempsey in a plastic pet carrier with a blanket & a cloth with his mum's scent on it.

Schnickys. I wish I only had a hour drive. Mine came on a plane. 12 hour trip between driving and flying. Frosty took two days as he had a little mishap in the first flight and needed vet care. Seriously, a car ride is going to be no big deal. If you can go with someone else so you can have the pup on your lap. Never can start the cuddles too soon.

My other half went to view Tinker after seeing her advertised on gumtree, she was 30 odd doors away on our street. He ended up walking her home and she has been here ever since lol, no car drive to worry about just a 2 minute walk up the street

Tyson's breeder drove him up from their farm in the Midlands of Kwazulu Natal. Was a 5 hour trip and he apparently slept on her lap the whole way. He still loves the car.

I had to take a 30min train ride to get Romeo, and then a train and bus back home. i had his wrapped up in a blanket that had his familys sent on it and he was snuggled dep in my winter jacket at the time, so i dont think anyone even knew i had him with me... just that i was fat or something but Romeo is a very clam and relaxed pup even now.
