Seasonal Avatars

First topic message reminder :

Starting on the 1st of every month I will post in this thread a theme for our avatars. For example if I say Harry Potter as a theme, then your avatar can be anything to do with Harry Potter. This thread is open to discussion of other posters avatars and suggestions for other themes.

It'll only last a week, afterwards we go back to our standard staffy avatars.

All are welcome to participate

The 1980s was when Metallica formed! Saw them in concert in 1984 & they were awsome!

Don't know if this worked since alot of things are blocked on my computer at work. I was going for the original Nintendo.

I'm a bit late (work and not getting on here!) But I was a cabbage patch girl I loved the care bears, rainbow bright, strawberry shortcake, my little pony... but then, my favourite television shows were transformers, teenage mutant ninja turtles, he man and she-ra and Monkey! (Monkey Magic... I apparently loved this and would watch it religiously every weekend! Ahhhh they don't make cartoons like they used to!

I decided to change mine - my fav band of all time started in the early 80s, so....

I've followed their progress for nearly 30 years!

I'm a bit late too, just saw every ones avatars changing so went exploring to see what it was about!

although I was only alive for 1.25 years of the 80's I do enjoy a bit of Pac-man

and Alicia I too watched Monkey religiously with my brother, we have a home video of me aged about 3 staring at the TV when Monkey was about to come on.

My brother now owns all the Monkey seasons on DVD and boy were they full of sexual innuendoes!

May ust keep this one for more than the one week One of my favorite films of all time and I still use alot of the catch phrases

My all time fave U2 album, I first had it on vinyl then cassette and now CD. I knew all the words to all the songs.

That just reminded me I once knew all the words to all the songs on The Eagles "Hotel California" album as well.
