Help lift the UK ban on Pit Bulls

Help us lift the ban on Pit Buls in the UK by signing this petition.

it's not a official petition website anybody around the world can sign it the uk goverment will only listen to uk people

sorry it dont look good on a petition having info from 2005 unless thats how long its been running for which if is the case only 2000+people have bothered signing in 6 years.
and if the government saw that kind of thing it would do more harm than good it would look like there is no support for the relaxation of the dog ban laws

I am VERY pro APBT (and always have been, even before the tabloids introduced them to the british public and most had never even heard of the breed in the UK!!) , but I think one line in that petition would be a lot more beneficial as a petition !! ... and thats the line about punishing the owners and not the dogs! I would sign that in a flash and do everything in my power to get others to aswell

thats the same feeling i share its all down to bad owners.
and the punishments should be the same as gun and knife crime if they alowe there dogs to be out of control

wouldnt sign to lift the ban anyway it is better in place. the staffy took over after the ban of the pitbull and look what happened to that breed. imagine the pitbull being back too. the pounds and rescues are over run with staffies without adding another status breed to the problem
