rocko is very poorly
rocko has been sick 6 times tonight he got his normal feed this morning and tonight,
he was fine at first lying in his bed chewing his teething bone and then I heard him gagging then he was sick,
he then ran downstairs to greet my boyfriend and was sick again in the hall and then in the livingroom and then 3 more times in the bedroom he has drank some water but went to sleep in my arms I've now put him to sleep in his bed.
all he's had to eat today is his 400g of dry food but he did manage to quickly catch a bit of raw onion I dropped on floor as he was to fast in catching it.

Re: rocko is very poorly
Was it a large bit of onion? Onion is really bad for dogs so it may be the onion that has caused it, if it was a really smal piece I would say it could be a coincidence though. Hope he is much better this morning!

Re: rocko is very poorly
I'd starve him today & then give him some light food tomorrow (boiled rice, mashed potato, chicken - I'm sure you know the usual!). If he doesn't keep that down then I'd pop him to the vets.
Obviously if he seems to be very 'off' today, then maybe a trip to the vets should be sooner.

Re: rocko is very poorly
thankyou all I think a visit to the vets will be on the cards as he has not had bowel movement since seven O'clock last night so that is worrying me but he's his usual self wanting to play and eating as normal.
