what age should i get him nuetered at!

hi rocko is 7 months old me and my boyfriend have been debating what age we should get rocko nuetered at. I was going to wait until he was at least a year old but my boyfriend thinks at least 2 years old.
I don't want to leave it too late and my vet says 6 months but I think that he is still a bit young to get the op done just now I would rather wait until he is fully matured.

This is such an emotive subject.

I always would prefer to wait until the dog is mature (with a staff that's about 18 months or so) but many people prefer to do it earlier.

Sometimes the circumstances are such that an early neutering is imperative, such as if there is an un neutered female in the same house (don't want unplanned pregnancies!).

i would wait untill the dog is mature too. you will know yourself when your dog is ready. my lemmy is 12 months and he is booked in now i think he has enough testosterone floating around for 3 dogs Laughing
