Japanese Art Empty Japanese Art

Post by Guest Fri Dec 30 2011, 11:29

One of our friends from the dog park is a really successfull artist and runs an art school. Recently they had a benefit for the victims of the March 11th earthquake. We bought a couple of pieces.

This is a clam shell. The gold paint coloring is actual gold and the rest is oil paint I think.

This is a ceramic plate. Not sure how it's made exactly other than harding in a furnace. Both are bonsai tree themes. I have an actual bonsai tree as well but I haven't trimmed it in awhile.

And of course a random Suki pic

Don't know how mine lived either. Really all you have to do is give them water and fertilizer and they seem to do well
