Ch & Am Ch. Dazlin Defiance RIP

Dempsey's grandfather, Ch. & Am. Ch. Dazlin Defiance died last week. He was only 7 years old. He was top EBT stud dog for 3 years running, and has produced over 10 champion dogs here & in America. He was probably the best looking BT I've ever seen.

He died from peritonitis caused by eating poisoned fox poo and/or eating his bedding. It was all very sudden - just 24 hours.

Sorry to hear that. He is an absolutley amazing looking dog.

I have just had a shock like this with duke his breeders came to visit just before christmas they had done me a memory book and brought him a squeeky toy with excitment he swallowed some I saw his face change and for a few days after he was sick some had blood in Ive been out my mind but the vet thinks whatever he swallowed has passed through his system and ive had the lovely job of checking his bowel movements .
So sorry about this beutiful lad gone but will never be forgotten

Gem, what a shock! So glad he seems to be ok, it's amazing how quickly they can chew lumps off things.

Marshall (Dazlin Defiance) has only recently returned to his breeders here in England & was going to be shown in the open class at Crufts. He was so fit & muscular. Just goes to show.

Real shame that im sure Ive seen him on the show circuit 2005/2006 the name is jumping out at me
Freaked me out with duke peritinitus is a nasty thing and sometimes you dont know if something is stuck at least I saw him swallow it they go downhill very fast and you have to get the op very quick its emergency situation hes okay now thankfully

Glad he's ok. Honestly sometimes I don't think they've got the brains they were born with! They'll swallow anything as long as it'll go down their throats!
