Glad you enjoyed it! We had duck a couple of times when we lived in Wales, but I found it a bit too fatty for my liking. And of course now, being vege, I wouldn't touch it with someone else's bargepole! Big Grin

saw a duck in the shop and was sorely tempted but didnt know if the fam would eat it. gemma won't eat lamb cos she won't eat babies, deer is out of the question cos its like eating bambi so maybe a duck to her would be like eating donald. a cow and pig are big and smelly so she doesnt mind them. turkeys are another bred to eat animal so she doesnt mind that.

my mum once took matthew to a petting zoo when he was about 4 and they had turkeys that he liked so at christmas we always had to tell him the turkey was christmas chicken
