Hi there
Hi all, I'm Gill, new to this forum, but not new to Staffie ownership. My husband and I have just got out 3rd Staffie, a 9wk old bitch we have called Cleo. We also have a 14yr 5mth old male called Harvey, and we lost our 1st ever Staff Hessie, at the age of 15 yrs, 4 yrs ago now. Hessie was a "rescue" and, although we had a lot of aggression problems at 1st, (1 vet told us to have him put down!!)within a year or so, with a lot of love and patience these were all resolved, and he became a wonderful family pet. Harvey we had from a pup, he has an immaculate pedigree and has been an angel, and we hope Cleo will be the same. We have 9yr old twin boys, and have never had a moments unease with any of our dogs with them, even when they were tiny premature babies - In our opinion, "Nanny Dogs" is a totally correct nickname for staffies!

Re: Hi there
Hiya,
What a little cutie, mine was a rescue so was never that small!! But my first was a pup and could fit on the palm of my hand, bless them when they are that small, and I'm pleased you persevered with your first baby.
You certainly have a house full with the twins and 2 staffies!! You must be blessed with patience, and yes they are lovely nanny dogs, I run a social club and mine adores the kids here and they adore her!!
Look forward to seeing some pics of your new pup please!!
Love Janey and Moo x

Re: Hi there
hi Gill
lovely dogs you have there.
Lady came home to us a few weeks ago at 8 months old,she was very anxious
she was so crazy at one point I am sorry to say we did ponder on rehoming her.but then decided to give it a shot.
so glad we did.she seems really grateful of her training.
good for you for helping your rescue staffy.
I would love to have one from a tiny pup one day.
Lady is able to have babies though she doesn't have papers, but we shall see how it all goes
welcome
