Lottie has a friend

Lottie was full of it today so i took her and a couple of tennis balls onto the field. its usualy empty but just as the ball left the thrower another dog arrived round the corner right in her eye line. oh NOOOOO to say my heart was in my mouth was an understatement i think it llept out and landed in the mud. i shouted her to STAY and she stopped still )i thought oh fantastic good girl) then she changed her mind and ran again. I shouted again STAY and she stould still again but this time not too long it got the better of her and she went. she ran straight to the dog tail in the air wagging that much her bum was wagging with it. they had a sniff of each other and ran off to play. i asked the lady if it was ok and she said yeh so we left them for a minute while we explained to each other about our rescue dogs (hers is one too and is really scared of people to the extent it growls at them) so it looks like Lottie has a firend and they both got gold stars for being good round strangers.

Wonderful news Julie. I know that heart in the mouth feeling. Nothing like letting it go and letting the dogs get on with it. Sounds like she had a great time. She really has come on fabulously.

It's great when they have a friend to run around with. I'm sure it's a boost for thier confidence too.
