Online Poker Empty Online Poker

Post by Guest Thu Nov 11 2010, 23:51

I have just recieved an email from a major online poker company stating that I have won some money off a player and that money is now been transferred to my bank account. This player is claiming a chargeback, which basically means they are claiming that their card had been lost or stolen.
Laughing My problem?

States the issue has been reported to the police and the investigation team is doing a full investigation.
Might tell them I used it to pay my tax with Laughing good luck getting it back from that bloody lot

I thought so....so I phoned them and the address its come from is a registed address from their company.
I've just emailed them back to an address I know is theirs with my mobile number obviously saying I will lick your bum and co-operate in the investigation, please phone me and tell me how I can help.
If they say send the money back I will try not to wet myself laughing but one can't make any promises rolling on the floor

Just an update I emailed them back and got nothing in return. Phoned them and the person has gone on holiday...great
Now for the bit im not happy about.....The mrs had £20 in her account said you might as well have it I never play poker anymore. So we transferred the money by playing poker against each other and she lost on purpose. Happened over 2 hands. This company has now only shut my account and wants ID and full explanation and told me there is a good chance that they will shut my account and keep the money lol.
Only won a few grand so I think there might be 2 court cases coming up if they think they can just do that without a fight banghead
Why I ever opened an account with these i'll never know
