My meerkat is allegedly in the UK and on it's way to me (for buying pet insurance from the meerkats). It's been 4 months

You have to buy their insurance to get a meerkat!

Yeah you need to buy insurance through them, and then (and they don't make this very clear) you need to send away for the meerkat toy - they don't just send you it automatically.
