Help

Hi I am after some advice please on saturday night my dog got into a fight with my sister in laws dog He has got all teeth marks on 1 side of his face and its all swolllen. Today I have noticed that under his neck the skin has gone all saggy does anbody no if this will be due to his face being swollen? any advice would be really appreciated

Hello and welcome to the forum, sorry to hear about your dog. I would take him to the vets to have a check up and make sure that everything is ok

Agree with above also, I would pop for a check up, he may have an infection so best to get it looked at.

yes his skin was broken and bleeding i cleaned it with water and have been cleaning it everyday with water have not put anything on it.

better to get it checked least you know then,i think their worst then children,worry you to death!

Hi all have spoke to the vets and they said because caine is ok in himself to take him in tomorrow at 10.00 and they will check him over.

If it's swollen, it's infected! The vet will give you a course of antibiotics, and these should reduce the swelling & clear it up pretty quickly.

If any of the bites open up, you'll need to clean them with warm salty water & that should stop any further infection from getting in.
