C Jay appeal fails
I think i mentioned C jay before? , his appeal failed, This quote makes me worried about Dundees new dog asbos "because he might become out of control" basically kill the dog because a careless owner allowed him to roam , the woman has made mistakes but punish her not him.?.

Re: C Jay appeal fails
They were given C Jays body back yesterday in a cardboard box and buried him in the garden. His final appeal failed the other day.

Re: C Jay appeal fails
It's a big shame and a sad loss , but if they could not keep the dog secure in their own property , then it is to be expected I'm afraid

Wtf. That is an ancient dog and it attacked a CAT if we put down every dog that has ever attacked a cat we'd have no dogs left!!!
That is disgusting. If i was a vet i would have refused to put it down. I feel that vets who put down healthy animals because someone told them to are disgusting.

Well if it is i dont like the scottish anymore! What a pathetic reason to put down a dog. The judge was obv not a dog lover.

It sounds like this dog wasn't properly monitored. My girls have been brought up with 4 cats and wouldn't dream of attacking another animal. Lola would chase but not hurt, then again my girls wouldnt get the chance to bolt to another garden and if they did they would not cause such an incident. I feel for both owners it is very sad.

Unfortunately, Dempsey would seriously harm a cat if he got hold of one without somebody around to stop him.
I must admit, that I thought dog on dog or dog on cat was a slap on the wrist & a promise not to let it happen again? Maybe the laws in scotland are different?

Hay come on... you're doing the similar thing that other people do regarding our staffs, blame the entire breed...!Equi wrote:Well if it is i dont like the scottish anymore! What a pathetic reason to put down a dog. The judge was obv not a dog lover.
I'm Scottish and I don't like the ruling, but I'm not going to blame us as a whole. the Judge yes, but not the people.

Sorry Leigh, I think Hayley was just letting off some steam, please dont take it too personally.
I spent my honeymoon in Scotland and had a wonderful time, my hubby and me felt really at home there and were treated with respect the whole time wherever we went.
We even shared a couples Champagne on a train as they were celebrating their anniversary with their whole family and they asked us to join them. It was a lovely thing to do on their special day. We will never forget them.
