a new place for lottie to visit today

rang the vets and gave them lottie's details so she is officialy on their books if she gets poorly. we are going to walk in the door with both dogs walk them over to the scales see if she will stand on them (they need her start weight) walk passed the receptionist who will just stand still and then walk out the door. the next time we are passing we will do the same again and see if she willt ake a biscuit from the receptionist. its all to get her used to the place so that she doesnt freak if she ever does need to go. so any time we're passing we will do the same walk in get a biscuit and walk out.

An excellent idea so they won't associate the place with only a bad experience or get nervous when they go there.

well all i will say is that didnt go as planned. we never got to the vets we just went for a walk and came home. we set off to go for a walk then up to the vets but the walk was a pain. she pulled like a tank all the time so no way was i gunna take her near the main busy road if she wasnt walking nice.

That is always a tough one. Hope Lottie gets it figured out and stops pulling. Great idea going to the vet like that.
