Dinner Dance Empty Dinner Dance

Post by Ben Mon Oct 31 2011, 18:49

Anybody else just love makeing their dog do the dinner dance? I get a kick out of it every single day! One of the things I like to torture my dog with. Gets him back for pouty eyes and stink eye. >Smile I'm going to have to video it one of these days. All I have to do is start the question within the appropriate hour and wowzers!

You know, the one where you ask them if they want dinner and they go bonkers (or are you just teasing me...)? confused

Maybe I just call it funny things. Monte will perk up from apparent dead sleep, spin, dash about the room, sometimes even woof, pause to make sure I am watching and run to the pantry door, then he dances about on his hind legs and begs me to get his dinner faster! I'll try to get video soon!

We shout DINNER DINNER DINNER! Then Violet zooms to her bowl, skips alongside me to where the dog foods kept, waltzes round me whist I fill her bowl, then she moonwalks jauntily all the way to where she eats. Every day without fail!

Ha ha we do! Tinkerbell only has to be asked if she wants food and she bounces around the kitchen and jumps at the units (normally when my hand is in the drawer reaching for a spoon, which hurts as a staffie hurtling towards a drawer is sure to close it). And she gets so vocal when it is food/treat time, she walks backwards woofing at us. When she is told to sit and stay so we can put her bowl down, she sometimes gets so excited she can't sit still and has to get up and try again. It is the only time she barks, when food is on offer!
