What a nice day
well we have had a calm day today. despite the excited start and then the restless night today went quite well. they have played but not as out of control as yesterday so they havent been parted all day. pete took them out this morning. then later me and pete took them to feed the ducks. then pete and matthew took them for a walk in the woods. they had breakfast which i had to give lemmy a head start on before callling lottie in. they have had chews which they keep swapping. they have had a lovely sleep this afternoon but then a bit later decided they would get in the same bed with their chews. they had their own dinner with a bit of chicken mixed in which again lemmy ate with manners chewing between each mouthful but lottie just wolfed it down. if anyone has any ideas on how to get her to slow down i would be greatful. she really does eat as though its her last meal. now they are in the room watching telly with pete matthew and gemma.

Re: What a nice day
i know leah i cant beleive how much they get on. they have had a challenge with each other she uses her bulk to shove lemmy but then he grabs her collar to get control of her so its not all angelic but its not at all like i thought it would be. i thought it would take them weeks but it has literally taken 24 hours. they are great friends so its just us she needs to learn to trust and this is what we will build on over time.

Sound like a perfect doggie day!
You can get special dishes that are designed to slow the dog being able to eat too fast. Have seen them in PAH, but a Staffie is a Staffie
