Never had it, not really something I'd ever fancy though.....i'd imagine it was either really slippery or rubbery

we ate eel last summer after catching it ourselves! we were actually out to catch flounder but one eel didn't get past my OH and he caught it, my cousins OH cooked it up for us the next night and it was really quite nice! but a little oily, and very difficult to prepare!
