UFC and BBQ
UFC and BBQ
Anyone else watching the UFC this weekend? I'm having a BBQ and some folks over and have been looking forward to it for weeks

Re: UFC and BBQ
Main event is BJ Penn vs Nate Diaz but the undercard is loaded as well so 7ish really exciting fights. I am so happy this sport has taken off and gotten popular. It's even signed a deal with one of the TV networks in the US so it is growing all the time.

I saw a news clip on that. I think that it is a good idea actually. There is a lot of disclipine involved and training and competing helps channel aggression and anger issues into a positive activity. I do understand how it can look bad for kids to do that though. There are numerous youth boxing leagues worldwide and nobody complains about that.

Re: UFC and BBQ
I won't because I have to marinate the meat for the BBQ tomorrow. Plus I'll still have to take Suki out for her second walk.

Ribs and a 7 layer dip with tortilla chips. Nothing to fancy but I do love ribs

Re: UFC and BBQ
Yeah I'm making to go plates for about 10 people since they have to work this weekend. We are also taking some for the folks at the dog park so I'll be cooking for about three hours. May be my last BBQ of the year since I hate the cold.
