we think we have got it sorted now but would like to make shore by asking any of you your opinions
were giving him twice a day
150g of Wainwright s duck and rice dry complete along with 75g of pilchards in tomato sauce
and half a t/spoon of cod liver oil
he is wolfing it down but just wanted to make shore we were doing things right
thanks for reading.
PS/ Benson is 20kg in weight

I probably wouldn't feed quite so much pilchards. Dempsey gets only one or twi tins a week maximum!
Apart from that, no problem. The way to judge, though, if you're feeding him ok is whether he's fit & healthy - slim, lively & happy. If he is, then you're doing something right!

thanks for the advice im only really putting the pilchards with his dry food as he has a tendency of not eating all his dry food and since ive been putting the pilchards in with it like i said he his now wolfing it down but if you think its too much pilchards could you recommend anything else i could add to his dry food as wet food from tins just go straight through him

Have you tried adding a bit of gravy just to make it a bit more tasty? Don't get me wrong, fish is a great supplement for a dog - it's just that the tinned stuff is probably a bit too rich for every day use, especially if you're also adding cod liver oil.
