They mature differently but 12 months is a junior but testosterone will be booming and a dog can produce around 9 months Big Grin

According to the 'show' world a puppy stops being a puppy at 12 months.

But yes, 10 months would still be considered a pup.

i think Buddys gonna be referred to as "puppy" till hes and old man!! lol, like on frasier, when martin says eddies still a puppy, when hes like 10!

My kaos is 16 months and still very puppy like. On the other hand we got Ty at 6 months and he was more grown up then than Kaos is now! Ty did come from rescue tho and im sure thats likely to take the spring out of anyones step!

ive always thought it was 18months when they become an adult .. goes from puppy to junior to adult to senior .. thats what we was taught in animal care anyway lol!

I would say around 18months too. But yes by any means I would say that 10 months is definately still a pup!
