Hello there...
Hello everyone,
Hope everyone and their doggies are well!
I haven't been about since starting uni, it has kind of hit me like a tonne of bricks at the moment. Lectures are really intense, I have only had one day of since starting 4 weeks ago. 9-5 lectures, mostly for Anatomy and Physiology and Biology is really heavy going, and it is frying my brain
I now understand why you should go to uni before having children It was much easier being a student last time round, with not a care in the world. Finding it tough at the moment to fit in studying, kids, housework and Tinkerbell! But we are muddling through slowly!
I am hoping to be about a bit more in the future, I have missed all you guys and reading about your lovely dogs.

Tinkerbell is great! Moulting like anything at the moment but as cheeky and naughty as ever. She had a much needed bath on sunday so will post pictures tomorrow, she loved it!

Re: Hello there...
You have a lot to juggle! I don't envy you but go for it, working 9-5, at least I can close the door behind me!
Looking forward to see some new pics

Re: Hello there...
Thanks Janey, I think that is what I am finding hard. I get home at half 5 and then have the day's mess to clean....Ian doesn't seem to be able to multitask (look after kids and clean lol). And then by the time I have taken Tinkerbell out and the kids are asleep it is 8pm and I have to sit and study
Starting to wonder why I chose such a hard degree lol, sitting in a room with wannabe doctors, so the standard seems to be quite high already! Not good

Re: Hello there...
Welcome back and good luck with the degree. You will get used to it after awhile and settle into a routine. I had to work two jobs while I was getting to my degree so I know balancing responsibilities can be difficult but it is worth it in the end.

Thanks Janey! The only reason why I am working so hard at it is that I know it is going to be so worth it in the end. If I can't get into midwifery after this medical sciences degree, then I am hoping to work really hard at it and get at least a 2:1 (would love a first but need to be realistic ) to enable me to apply into Graduate entry medicine and do lots more sudying to become a paeditaric consultant. My ultimate dream, but will see how things go with the kids and everything as that is going to be really hard work

Thanks, I am finally starting to get into a routine. In the first week I kind of came home and didn't work at night. The last week I have been catching up by writing up all my notes I have taken, reading around the topics etc. Still got more to do this weekend But then things will get easier as I can just come home and do the day's lectures and not have to catch up! so getting there slowly, just glad I don't hold down a job too or I would be exhausted. So good on you for working when you did your degree. I had a job last time I was at uni and found that part time job and uni hard enough!

Thankyou! Although really not feeling clever next to all these 17 year olds who have come straight from school and aced their A-levels
No, I haven't taken many pictures of Tinker for a while, but I do have the one's I took last weekend in the bath! Until she decided I was busy taking pictures, so would drink the dirty water
