Is this another one .... Please Help !!

Recently Inca developed an Interdigital cyst on her left foot (which is still being treated with antibiotics) ...... that seems to be very slowly going down but today i noticed this on her right foot now !!! Is this another Interdigital cyst .. If so how come she has got another one while being on antibiotics for the 1st one ...

I have emailed these pics to my vet and am waiting to see what he says and am just wondering if these are summit that are gunna plague Inca and maybe her immune system is abit run down !!..

Any advice is welcome ...

they might put her on double dose of anti bitotics maybe...

she may have a grass seed in her paw

Poor Inca she just seems to keep suffering as does your purse! Doea look a little nasty, let us know what the vets come back with.

Oh and she is such a good girl to let you take the photos I'd have had know chance!

My Lexi had a lump similar to this and my vet said it was because she was licking and chewing at her paw because she was missing me and bored. Maybe your dog has been licking herself too? Obv if they break the skin a lot of bacteria comes from their tongue..

Yes it is another interdigital cyst and if a dog is prone to them they can get them all their lives, one of my staffies did. They are not cysts as we think of them because they don't contain pus or break open, they usually just go down. I tried everything for my dog, bathing them, antibiotics (they don't work), calendula cream, you name it , I tried it! You think you have cracked it when they go away and then one will appear again. I even took my dog to a Consultant Vet at Langford Veterinary Hospital, you may remember it from the TV Vet Training Programme, but they couldn't do anything. The only thing that helped, was steroids, Prednisilone tabs. Its not to do with the immune system, its caused by the hair and webbed type toes. You will probably find that your dog will continually lick it.
