What style to go for???
I'm looking to get Chloe her first harness, lead & collar set for when she can start walking. What would you suggest? Harness of collar and lead. I've seen so many on tried and tested but not for when they are so young - Chloe will be almost 14 weeks when she goes out

Re: What style to go for???
Depends, really. I use both - collar for training and harness for more relaxed walking. When he wears the harness he is allowed to pull a little, but when I use the collar he has to walk properly. That way I can switch if we suddenly are in a hurry, or if we're walking for longer than I'd expect him to be able to concentrate.
IF you get a harness, though, you'll have to switch them as she grows even if you can regulate them a bit. When Gummi first arrived I used a cat harness for him.. or.. I think it's a small dog harness, but I bought it for the cats. But pretty soon I started using one like this: http://dog-games-shop.co.uk/harnesses-fleece-lined/size-2-fleece-lined-dog-cat-harness I like the "Y"-front harnesses the best (but would have liked them to be a little longer in the back). He's now wearing a size 3 at 7 months and I ordered him a size 3 hi-viz one on Friday as he's not likely to outgrow that size for quite some time.
As for collars they should ideally be wide enough to cover at least 2 vertebrae to reduce the chance of injury if they suddenly pull on the collar/you have to pull them back.

Oh, that was the exact same one I was looking at. It's definitely going to be handy to have them all in and ready.
I'm getting a little excited as she's got her last lots of injections on Thursday and will be allowed out on 30 October
