millys check ups over

Hi all
Millys vet check ups are over now.She had her checkup on monday just gone for checkup on the stiches.And she has had the last check up today thankfully every thing went fine and she is healing lovely.Hopefully i will get some more pics posted this weekend ive got loads to post.I hope you lot on the forum will think she is cute.Because my mum said to me yesterday she isnt a cute looking staffy is she I had to bite my tounge else we would have had a serious fall out over her comment We didnt want to enter her in to beauty contest.I realy dont care what she thinks she is Beautiful to me and thats all that matters

mothers are mean they just dont like being grandmas to dogs well tough the jobs yours like it or lump it. LOL glad she doing ok. and yes she beautiful to you and thats all that matters but i am sure we will think she's lovely too cos we see the dogs different to other people big hugs for her ><

Great to hear she is in good health and I think she is adorable

My mum adores Kita (although they did have their doubts about a "staffy") before they met her.
As for looks, every time we go out with our two, people think Kita's the mum of Izzy and Izzy is a boy.
I know Izzy's a big girl and once that big wide grin is on show, she doesn't look very feminine at all (& she was so cute as a pup), but she's still the most gorgeous girl to me and that's what matters the most.

i was wondering what happens when a female is DONE. is it a full histerectomy and how big is the wound and how long for healing time. only curious cos our adoptee gets done next week and we cant meet her till after she has recouperated a few days

Milly scar is only tiny we couldnt even see the stiches they are on the inside.Milly had the spay on a sat and was back to her hypo self the sunday.We asked them what they took away its the ovaries and womb,The stiches dissolve themselves also.I was told by the vet that having her spayed was a good thing they have a longer life and also stops them from getting certain cancers.If more folk spayed it would help cut down on unwanted staffys.As we know ourselves some only breed them for money we have a few of them types round here where we live
