Beach holiday! (fb page )
Hello! for the past five days I have been staying 6 hours drive away with my grandparents in a small town called Nungurner, which is near Lakes Entrance, Victoria.
I was there to hang out with my cousins and living with my grandmother was really doing my head in! she loves technology but is too scared to experiment so I had to fix everything for her while I was there (DVD player, TV, Computer, Freezer temperature... and more.) Im glad to be home, because the weather there is so unpredictable it was hot and sunny for 10 minutes then pouring rain for an hour... every day!
I did get one good beach day out of it though, so without further ado, heres some photos.
Russell's $2 bone/thing from an organic butcher at the Metung Market
he was loving it
First time at the ocean - "what the heck is that!!!???"
Frolicking with my grandparent's corgi, Jedda, in the long grass. had to take Jed to the vet the next day to get a grass seed removed from inside her ear.
He spots something spikey... shuffling around OMG!
gotta give it a wide birth who knows what it could do to me?
Jed's not worried
Exploring grandpa's beach village (a popular stop for the boat tours to look at in high season)
On the Jetty
Checking out the Marina
and sleeping (slept almost the entire 6 hour drive home I was very pleased)
Just a bonus - took this pic before I left and love it!

thought I might add.. .my grandpa loves concrete and fibreglass... anything needs fixing - Fibreglass (this includes the dint I made in our bush bomb car when I crashed it into a tree - just fill it with fibreglass!)
building - concrete, grandpa has a huge village built on his beach for tourists and it is 95% concrete, the rest is toys he has stuck on or seashells.

Looks like a lot of fun. I won't show that bone pic to my dog b/c he'd eat the computer screen.

love the last pic and the one with hi in the sand on his own....reminds me of the poem Footprints In The Sand.....
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”
It's a bit religous, it always makes me cry .....

Great pics. I would be terrified of letting Suki in the front of the car with us. We keep her in the back and strapped
