hello everyone

hi everyone,
I'm a first time staffy owner and I've been looking around the site the last few weeks in preparation for our new addition to our family and thought i would say hello
we introduced a new staffy baby, Bella, to our family on thursday. My older dog Millie, a lab x collie, isn't too sure it was a great idea but we are slowly working on that

these are my 2 babies I had forgotten how tiring a new pup is, how they like playtime to be the middle of the night lol. As soon as you get the puppy eyes all is forgiven tho

there are so many beautiful dogs on here. I've been trying to take more pics of bella but she doesnt make it easy lol
There has been a little progress with Millie she actually sniffed at Bella before going off to hide out in my room again. I'm hoping this is a good sign, really wanting them to get on an be company for each other.

welcome from me and my girls Kita & Izzy.
I'm sure Millie will come around, she just has to do it in her own time. My older girl Kita had nothing to do with Izzy when we first brought Iz home. Over the next few days they worked it out and now everyone thinks they are mum & daughter & totally inseparable (which may be a nightmare for me down the track, but I wouldn't have it any other way).

Hi from me and Rusty, hope all works out with Millie...... i also have to let my other two dogs, also labs - Buddy (male) and Nala (female), meet rusty tonight, so also keeping fingers crossed at this end , let me know how things progress with Bella

I hope it all goes well with Buddy, Nala and Rusty, its a little bit scary seeing how they will get on.
I think Millie is starting to come round to the idea that the tiny terror is staying. she stopped sulking in the bedroom and actually played a little with her yesterday (kept an eye on it cause i wasnt sure at first if she was playing or trying to get rid of her lol) This morning Millie is a bit of a grump though, grumbling about everything
Thats brilliant abotu Kita and Izzy, Its good to hear that they can work through it. at the moment if it Bella that approaches Millie she jumps and walks off, I'm guessing she wants it to be on her terms but she has been attacked a few times by dogs she has tried to play with so I'm not sure if its due to her being a little nervous of that.

lol, i am sure they will get use to each other, rusty already met the jack russel on sunday, but funny enough he was the first one to start growling at Lucky the Jack Russel, but they have been together now for 2 days and are enjoying each other, Lucky is about 2 and a half months old now, so they are good play mates. Lucky belongs to my suster, buddy and nala to my mother, and rusty to me, i live in a flat close next to my father's house and even though i have my own fenced off area the dogs still have to be able to live with each other
