Our first holiday

Me and Harry are off to Sunny Devon for a few days. This will be our first ever holiday. With perseverance I have got him used to the car and he loves to come everywhere with me now so the 2 hours journey won't be a problem. I have been brave enough to book in a Hotel/Country Inn. We have a ground floor room with patio doors leading out in to the garden, plenty of walking on the doorstep and a beach. Our evening meal will be in the bar and Harry can come in with me. Just hope the little monster behaves himself otherwise I might be back after the first night

Didn't realise how much packing I would have to do for him though, what with food, dish, water bottle, bed, toys, towels for dirty feet etc etc there won't be much room in the car for my stuff

Have an amazing time, when you off?? I remember my first hol with Moo, it was fantastic but yes she had more packed than I did, it filled the boot of car!!

Thanks, we are going Tuesday morning and coming back Friday morning. So 3 nights. I don't know whether I'm very brave or very daft, but time will tell. My boy is quite a handful.

Will try and get some pictures of him having a paddle, the weather forecast is looking good.
