Hi all

Last Wednesday I became the owner of a very adorable Staffy puppy. Like Muncher I was told he was nearly 8 weeks but the vet has said probably nearer 6-7 weeks but he has been checked over and seems to be doing well.

He is called Bear and seems to be responding well to this name. He sleeps an awful lot which to be honest is fantastic because when he is awake you need eyes in the back of your head, his current fetish seems to be the hoover pipe doh

.

We have two kids aged 6 and 9, they are a little bit jumpy around him but are getting better with time.

Apart from the chewing (he does have appropriate toys which he has just recently discovered the joy of thankfully) and occasional wee on the carpet (all poops have been done in the correct location thankfully) he is quite well behaved and comes when called. I can't wait til all his jabs are done and he can go out properly as he is dying to play with other dogs and it is important that he is social with other dogs.

I'm not overly keen on being woken at 3am for 'play time' but I am hoping this wont last LOL

I only have pics on my phone so far and they are a bit blurry as he doesn't sit still LOL

I was sitting at the PC minding my own business when I heard a little whimper, I turned to see those huge puppy dog eyes looking up at me. He is currently asleep IN my top resting on the table. I can't move!!!! Laughing
