Finally Introducing Myself

Hi All,

After spending a few months viewing posts and learning a lot, I have finally decided to introduce myself. I have an 18 month old Staffy named Monte. We have only had him a short time, but he is a blast! My whole family loves him and he has a huge heart! Here are a few pics...

You say he is about 18 months and you have'nt had him long.......great job on giving him a loving home. How did you come to get such a great looking Adult dog?

Monte came to us from a really good breeder. Originally we were going to get a puppy, but the breeder was kind enough to let us adopt one of her stud/show dogs (I think she would have normally placed him with another showing family but she was working with us and helping us out). It is kind of a long story but it really was nice of her to do it for us as kind of a favor. We don't have very many staffys over here to rescue if one wants to. Lots of full Pits and x dogs, but we wanted to know what we were getting.

Thank you for the kind words. We think he is beutiful. He acutally just got his champion points and has about a dozen champion/ grand champions in his pedigree.

What a gorgeous dog he is, very handsome.

We are due to get our little one in December and his Mother is a red and his Father is red too but with white markings so if our pup turns out to be as gorgeous as Monte I will be a very happy owner.
