Been a while... update :)

Hey everyone,
I forgot my login details so had to register again.
Sky will be 2 in August, goes by sooooo quick!!
Heres a few pics from then till now. I love him so so so much.
He's lovely, just very mardy
And he doesnt like other dogs too much, dont know how to get him used to dogs is it too late?

Hes a gorgeous boy, some dont like other dogs there is no harm in keep trying you may find 1 or 2 he will tolerate but be careful when you introduce him be prepared and make sure hes under control.

He's gorgeous lol in the third pic he looks like he wants to chew your nose.
It is hard and not always doable to get males to like others dogs, I have been having the same problem with my male, Keep trying though and consistant and keep him under control, if he doesn't get along with any just prevent accidents and i heard somewhere Staffies prefere human company so he will be happy enough with you.

aww thanks for advice, i wouldnt change him for the world. he has this thing where he rubs his nose on your mouth because he wants you to bite his mouth some reason he likes it bless him

Awww he is gorgeous! .. my old staffy wasnt very dog friendly, infact he was majorly dog aggressive .. control and restraint and you dont have a problem .. you just have to watch out for those occasional un-educated idiots! lol

He is great...I love his look as he resembles Thor...who I need to post new photos of now that he is 14 months. Most dogs can learn to be better around other dogs, but socialization has to be done properly. Where you do it (not at his house) the dogs you use and even how you react all is important.

Some Staffords are Dog Aggressive or Dog Selective and no amount of socialization will change it. They just don't like other dogs and that's ok! They were originally bred to fight other dogs, so some of them will still have the impulse. With proper training it is manageable, though.

Hes beautiful, You should be able to get him use to other dogs, But start off slowly, Else Just cause more distress than good, And lur him with treats, Worked with my friends dog, But takes ALOT longer with older dog, Getting use to other dogs, But Its NOT Impossible, Staffys are known not to really like other dogs, But with ALOT of patience and hard work can be done, Keep trying, Good Luck!

Even dogs that have actually been raised to fight can themselves be trainedto be tolerant and well behaved around others. Anyone who says different has not been around a trainer who knows how to do it.

earlier today while walking sky a woman and a tiny dog was walking towards us, very impressed with sky as he didnt batter an eyelid but the woman picked her dog up and said 'thats a scary dog'
such a stereotype!!
i just laughed and said to sky ''come on sky, he's a good boy''

I say, "It's ok, Saxon, that dog just doesn't want to play."
