woody's first injury!

well i cant believe it has taken this long but woody injured himself for the first time today. was round at izzy's and he went hurtling up the decking steps and didnt judge it quite right banging both front legs straight into the steps and then skidding forward full pelt into the patio doors. i really pooped myself that he had really hurt himself, however............... in true staffy style after 2 minutes of limping and copious cuddles and kisses and sympathy he started running around again like nothing had happened!

going to keep a close eye on him tonight and i think he may be a little stiff/sore tomorrow

he's so clumsy which is why im surprised he hasnt hurt himself before, even izzy stopped hurling herself at him to check he was ok

There so resilient, silly, clumsy Woody! Moo sends licks! She ran into the corner of a pool table at full pelt once, knocked her sideways, but also in true Staffy style up and about in minutes. Xxxx

I love how clumsy some dogs can be, they make you laugh a lot (once you know they're ok of course haha)

Hope Woody is okay. As clumsy as they are it's a good thing they are also a resilant bunch.

im pleased to report there was no lasting damage to Mr Woody.he is running around as normal today and doesnt appear to be suffering any stiffness, he more than likely wont learn either!

Glad to hear it. Every time anyone says the magic words (go potty) around here both my dogs tear towards the back door and the kitchen is slippery to their paws. As soon as they hit the turn they both slide about five feet right into the cabinets. BANG!! I am surprised no injuries yet.

so glad Woody has no ill effects from his mishap !
