I love the forum because people are very global and so kind. There is so many different people with different point of views, ideology, culture and lifestyles and still we all can be a same group. I think there is only one (and that is the BIG ONE), what connect us and that is world greatest breed, the gorgeous STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER!

I have a question, how do you find your pug and staffy get along? I'm thinking I could get a pug in the future so would love to hear your experiences having them together!

Billy ist 5 year old and sice he ist 2, we wanted to have a second dog. We wanted a dog that has short fur, has the same size and a short stop ( is it the word for "nose", in German it`s calles stop).
So there were pugs, french Bullies, Boston Terrier and the Staffies.
We opted for the staff.

The two are really total different breeds, and I`m honest, I had some problems with that.
Billy is stubborn, difficult to motivate, calm and balanced.
Carla loves training, a bundle of energy, loves the wild play-just Staffie.
Billy doesn`t like this wild playing, so she has her friends to play, and Billy has his friends to play. They rarely play togehter, but that`s not a problem for us.
But, and that`s the most important thing for us, they complement each other perfectly. Carla gives him some energy, he transfers the balance and the sovereignty to his sister.
I think, they`re a super team. But I have to say that Billy isn`t a typical pug, he`s sporty, loves hiking, running.
We sometimes say, Billy is a Staffordshire Bullterrier in a pug`s body and Carla is a pug in the body of a Staffie

LOL - I think the staffie and pug are SO similar, but I guess it's individual.
Where in Austria are you? I have been there a few times, but only to Wien. My best friend's mother is from Wien and have an apartment there where my friend and I stayed, and then my boyfriend wanted to see Wien when we were on Interrail.

I often think mine are "pigs" in staffy bodies.

Don't worry about your "English", we are having no trouble at all understanding your posts and you communicate very well.

No, I think they`re completely different.
I am from Styria, I don`t like big cities, so was in Vienne the last time a year ago :-) We have lot of wood, and the surrounding is "green" (gras, and trees) and wie have lot of mountains to hike
