A day at the Lake

Today I took my boys (OH and Russell) out for a day trip on this lovely winters day 
. first stop was the cascades, which is basically a bunch of rocks and waterfalls, my family have always taken our dogs there for a bit of a climb and swim, Russell had to be on the lead as it was flowing quite rapidly.
Then we went to Lake Eppalock (a large lake about 30 minutes from our place) for Russell's first ever swim!
although he didn't actually 'swim' I didn't want to push him but after a while he was happily running in and out of the water playfully!
without further ado, heres some photos!

well cold for me! haha I think today was around 16 degrees celicius, but the water was much colder!!!!
I think Spring is arriving early for us I'm so excited about sunny days!

The lake is beautiful, some great photos of russell. I love the happy face photo hes a stunner!

wow tht lake looks amazing!
seems funny tht u have days tht look like tht in winter.........ours are all gray and wet..........a bit like our summer this year!!

haha I love making you jealous of our weather, I don't think I could ever handle living in the UK! the only thing that entices me is the beautiful country side... beatrix potter style.
