Lady R.I.P.

R.I.P. 'Lady' .. and Run Free sweetheart.

Lady passed away this morning after a sudden illness.
vets tried to save her .. she had an op. .. but she didn't recover.
as she was still suffering with little to no chance of survival,
i made the decision to end her pain for good .. 2am sunday morn.
.. she were 12 years old .. maybe more,
as her age were unknown when i adopted her in 2013 ..

Forever in my heart, Never to be forgotten.

just to add :

there's a school of thought , held by some, that sais sometimes we are needed in the after-life.
needed , to give comfort to those who pass before their time.
when my mum died , there was a war going on .. many children killed.
as a nurse .. mum spent her life looking after children..
i like to think she was needed to comfort the war victims .

same with Lady ..
plenty of children , having died in gaza and ukraine ..
souls, who could do with a playful pup in heaven.

have ordered a little golden urn for her ashes,
and someday i might scatter her ashes on the moor overlooking Ilkley,
.. her favourite place for walks ..
