Staffy + first time owner = best team ever!

Just came by to say hi!

I'm a first time dog owner - and I decided on Staffy

He's a 7mo black male, from my still limited knowledge seems like a confident type (tail always kinda up / coiled a bit). We're currently working on obedience training.



Now I guess I'll go to another section with couple of questions

Yup, he's intelligent and very food driven. The training goes very well, socialization is harder as his playstyle is a bit too much for most of doggos we encounter (bully types love to play with him though), so we've got to work on that.

Socialisation isn't just playing nicely with other dogs - it's knowing that sometimes it's okay to NOT play; it's okay to NOT say hello; it's okay to be called away from play & be calm.

But he's young yet - he'll learn.
