Denzil Staffie DOB 2011 Brighton HOMED

Denzil needs a supportive family to offer time and tolerance to allow their new dog to settle. Denzil needs a secure 6' garden with supervision,if left he can leap high fences. Aware exit management as initially will try and follow family when leaving. Denzil so needs a family that is centred around his needs. Denzil loves other dogs and has always shared his space with them. Proven with cats and tight initial reign. NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog's lives at greater risk.



Known background: Denzil was picked up many times by the dog warden as his family's garden was insecure: Then family refused to pay reclaim fee close to Christmas 2014 we took him in as an emergency. Denzil grew up in a multi dog household. Denzil is neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated. Currently fostered in Portslade nr Brighton with 2 dogs, 6 cats and visiting children.

About Denzil: Denzil is a an affectionate Staffie who is highly skilled and dotes on his family and has been managed to live alongside 6 cats and 2 dogs. He was initially nervious around visitors but has learnt to welcome. Denzil now mixes with visiting children. Denzil is off lead in safe areas with his Patterdale and Collie x companions. he meets dogs well and is a credit to his breed. Now Denzil is satisfied by being inclusive to his foster family he no longer tries to dart out of the front. door. His foster family can not leave the backdoor open whilst they go to work as he jumped the fences, so left in the lounge with toys he is happy!

Denzil is a 3 year old Staffie white with brindle patches. Denzil came into his foster family as a free spirit creating his own rules: He listened, learned and now understands where he has freedoms and when he has boundaries to the point he is fully respecting of the 6 cats, an elderly Collie who likes her own space and plays with his terrier friend. Strong leadership has allowed Denzil to relax and enjoy being part of his foster family. Denzil now needs his very own family
