HI everyone. I have a 9 month old female AmStaff named Suki. I've been reading this site for about a week and found it very informative so I decided to join. Suki is my first AmStaff but I have been around the larger dog breeds most of my life. I look forward to sharing information and stories with you all and will post some pictures and videos once I set up an account.

I noticed there are alot of people from Europe on the forum. One of the best things about being here in Japan is that there is no negative sterotype associated with AmStaffs because most people here have never seen this type of dog. This means Suki is welcomed with curiousity and open mindness by new people and dogs when we take her out instead of fear. I feel bad that the breed has been given a bad name and for all of the legislation and sterotypes that most of you have to deal with. I, or I should say my wife, spend most of the time trying to disprove the sterotype and show how kind and loving staffies truly are.

There is alot of negativity surrounding staffords here, but like you, we all just do our best to show what our breed is REALLY like.

US, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Ireland, England, Japan, Mexico, Malaysia, Japan, Iraq, Afganistan, Austrailia, India, China, New Zealand, Guam, Singapore, Phillipines, Jordan, Sryia, Costa Rica, Jamicia, Brazil, Laos, Cambodia, Kuwait and Egypt. I may have forgotten a couple because I'm too lazy to drag the passport out but I still plan on a proper tour thorough Europe, Africa and alot of time in Central and South America since I can speak passable Spanish.
