now anyone that ready my post Sunday "Kids are like Cats" will know im not the most child friendly person to ever walk the earth. However i think i now need to advertise my babysitting services to all my friends with young children. Just got back from after work walks with Woody and the boy is pooped and i didnt have to do a thing.

As we arrived a young couple with a child were there, maybe 5-6 years old, they explained they wanted to get a staffy and would i mind if their little girl played with Woody - as you can imagine i was overjoyed and Woody's tail wagged like it was powering a windmill! i let him off and they have chased each other across and around the field for about 45 minutes til they both collapsed with exhaustion (they werent as pleased with the bike helmet snatching episode mind you!).

1 very tired Woody & Brooke, 2 very happy parents and a dog owner who can go out for a slap up indian shortly knowing her boy will sleep!
so........................anyone got any kids for hire???? Surprised

I'm sending over my 7 year old and 3 year old twins. None of them are in the mood for sleep, can Woody please sort that out for me?? I'll buy him a big juicy bone to say thanks Smile

yep that will do, he'd love it!

he was really good, she was hyper but he was so much softer that he is with adults, no jumping up. he is turning into my little star

think they may be a bit old for woody, he likes to chase the ones he knows he could take down if need be!

Oh, he could take down my son - he's soft as butter where dogs are concerned. He'd have a bit of trouble with my daughter, but all he'll have to do is give her one of those staffy grins together with those huge sad eyes & wrinkly forhead & she'll be his slave! Big Grin

ok Ive got 2yr & 10yr old, girls, good with staffies, also get on well with cats, both hyper, their in the post as I type Laughing

ps. the 10yr old is great at wearing dogs out and is used to it Wink

well I don't have a maternal bone in my body.. except for four legged babies.. and I have 9 nieces and nephews. A few years back when I went over to South Australia to visit everyone I held one of their kids.. wow.. there were cameras everywhere... they said it was the first time I had ever held any of their kids!! Laughing

I know what you mean! My OH has lots of little nephews and cousins and Tali absolutely adores children. Whenever we go family events we just take her and dogs and children are entertained for hours, and in the evening all the parents can relax knowing that the children are knackered! Works really well!!!

i think you have all missed the key point from my chnage of heart - this is that i borrow them to tire Woody out..........for an hour or so and they are then sent right back to you!

I'll be nice and keep my kids here or they'd put you off kids well and truly for life. Both girls. Love 'em to bits but the 14 yr old is cross between the three little pigs/puff the magic dragon.....she'll huff and she'll puff and she'll blow your house down (does'nt take much at the mo' to get her worked up) Laughing

and the 12 yr old....well she'll just chatterbox

Listen to us all.....anybody would think WE are the ones who don't like kids rolling on the floor
