is my staff a full staffy

hi my name is dave we have  had our dog since he was 7 week old but people keep saying hes crossed but I was wondering if you could tell me what he is if he is a cross he is now nearly 14 week old the pics I took less than an hour ago

at the puppy stage at times they do look funny looking things

if you dont have the paper work from the breeders you got him from its hard to say,did you see his mum and dad?at 14 weeks he'll change so much,he's very cute thou   

He looks like my Lula did at that age very cute   

when Meg joined our family she was 12 weeks old, gangly and lots of loose skin.  He's got quite a bit of filling out to do at only 14 weeks.

at that age and without papers you cant have a real idea. like steve said they will change so much as a puppy as nothing grows in proportion. legs one week, head another etc etc he will look like all sorts until his growth stabalises

The kc have caused a lot of confusion over what is a true staffy and what is not. the problem is that the kc standard is a small compact dog and anything other is thought to be a mix or more commonly a pit bull. the truth is that an original staffy was longer in the leg and much more athletically built. the original staff bt was one pf the foundation dogs for the apbt thus an osbt and an apbt are extremely similar in build and looks. a kc standard sbt and a true original sbt would not look the same at all. the kc standard is the cause for sbt of more original build being demonised and mistaken for an apbt. people are told that long legged old time and irish are all code for pit bull. thats not true. they are referring to the original form of dog. the irish sbt is an original sbt with no changes. they called it the irish staff to distinguish it from the kc version.
