Injured Staffy & Baby

Post by BlueBear Sun Jun 29 2014, 00:07

Hi everyone

We've had our boy Ted from being a puppy, he's now 3 years old.  He's a very loving, well behaved and kind natured boy.. LOVES his cuddles! ♥️

I'm due to have a baby girl in a couple of weeks and although I have no doubts that he will be great with our new addition, I'm really worried of him feeling left out.  Just wondered if you had any helpful tips and advice on introducing the baby to him and also on making him still feel included.

Thanks Smile

you already know what to do just don't leave him out include him in as much as you can and try to stick to his established routine. they are fantastic dogs to have around children and he will love and protect your little girl just as much as he loves and protects you.

we had our first child to weeks ago and the same as you were worried about Toby our 2 year old getting on well. We done lots of reading etc. Bought a few bits from the hospital for him to smell. Toby has been good as gold. Very careful and generally just brilliant. I make sure he's involved in everything and have been giving him equal amount of attention. Good luck and I'm sure all will be fine
