I used to go to Spain regularly and did Nicaragua on my own the other year, always meet people to go for meals and drinks with

i dont mind trevaling on my own it deciding what to do while there which i will have a problem with!! there so much walking you can do and me without a car it wouldn't be going far...

Depends where you go to I only hired a car a few times otherwise got buses/trains to where I was going and know there is loads of stuff in walking distance when I get there

my uncle go away on his own to his canavan at skeg he get up goes to the pub drinks to 3/4ish go to his canvan and sleeps for a few hours then goes out and drink more and get kabab or chips and fish  Rolling Eyes i can do that at home i would need compeny which makes a holidays

I could quite happily go on holiday on my own, but that's me, I do prefer my own company. So long as I could get out for walks I would be fine.

why not go on your own? I had 15 years of blissful singly, as an xpat, Did what I wanted to and when, dance all night railway cafe opens at 6 am, went about midnight had a few wets before leaving of course
so had a few wets, out for the night brekkie shower back to work that was the life xx
