Suggestuons needed for a harness. Empty Suggestuons needed for a harness.

Post by Cait Fri Jun 13 2014, 12:34

Hi, Pink panics over being walked on her collar [rolls, paws and acts as if she is about to be beaten] and seems to prefer being on a harness. I am currently using a fleece lined soft dog harness that does not rattle for Pink but even that is rubbing the scars under her chest where her nipples were bitten off. [she is a rescued dog]
I have an ezy-dog car harness for travelling in the car but again that rubs the scars underneath. Hubby has offered to pay for her to have a bespoke harness made to fit around her scars so she is more comfy but I have no idea who might make bespoke harnesses for bull breeds.

Help.

Has anyone any recommendations of places I could try.

I bought one from scrufts that are made to measure

Though I personally prefer the xtradog fleece ones, that may be what you have that is rubbing though x

Oz is a baldy under his chest so we invested in an el perro harness made to measure, cost a bit but well well worth it

Rocky now has the EzyDog chestplate harness which we got to replace the Julius K9 one as he can get out of it.

Have you tried putting a light shirt or other clothing under the harness? This may help with the irratation and make a custom harness uneccessary.
