i really want my own chickens

if and got allotment and made the hole thing an chicken run   would i get booted off   

Me too that's why I am looking for somewhere with a mega long garden   

my sister got huge back garden you seen it but my mum think when buy houses there by laws (or whatever you call i) what you can and cant do and she thinks we cann't have any live stock in out back gardens, ect pigs, chicken, sheep, ducks and so on

I loved mine, proper little personalities

yea me two but i dont want to take on an full allotment with out help maybe i could split it up in 2 1 half for the chicken and the other half with spud and carrots?   mmm saz you gave me an idea there

free range eggs mmm you only an cheap shed to keep them in and an good farce to keep the fox's you will make the money back over time selling the eggs

£1 for 6 eggs work friends & family they will snap your hands off, my sister friend has his own land and does it  it not about the money but you got to feed the chickens and the allotment... it wont pay for it all but it will help

Having your own chickens is awesome for the fresh eggs! Can't beat em Parents used to have 30 odd on a piece of scrap land next to their garden until the foxes got them An allotment would be good cos they destroy gardens very fast would be careful about getting a cock though  Evey one my parents has had has been a viscous b*****d!

My dad has always kept chickens since we were tiny kids, still has some. He hasn't had a noisy cockeral for years though. If he want new hens he buys them, don't need a male! That way neighbours not annoyed and he knows none of the eggs are fertilized. We get eggs all the time

my grandad dad kept rabbits after the first world war they used to have rabbit for sunday dinner well most of their meat was rabbit back then
